Preparing for the Journey: Unifi’s New Mission, Purpose, Culture and Values

We are at the beginning of an exciting journey for Unifi.

Over the past few months, our leadership team initiated pivotal conversations around company culture and Unifi’s unique vision for the future. These discussions focused on designing an inclusive culture that aligns with our values and operating principles.

This topic came to the forefront when our Chief Executive Officer, Gautam Thakker, traveled nationwide to meet with our extended network of customers and employees. Gautam believes that leaders must understand what drives employee behavior on a day-to-day basis in order for an organization to operate successfully. In each encounter, he asked about Unifi’s culture and quickly realized that an evolution was taking place. It was time to re-examine our vision and realign the message to reflect the shared values of our current team.

This new perspective is intended to convey the value of Unifi as an organization, a place where our team can learn confidently and grow professionally. We look forward to moving forward as a new company with a renewed vision and purpose and a fresh focus on serving our customers, creating exceptional experiences, and strengthening the communities in which we live and work.

Our Vision for Unifi

Our vision is to be the most RESPECTED company and providing an EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCE getting aircrafts and passengers to their destination.

Based on the feedback from our Unifi community and the iterative process on behalf of our leadership team, we arrived at a new vision and purpose statement to describe why we do what we do and where we’re going next. Our concentration on our people will serve as the roadmap to guide our efforts and drive our success.

Respect comes in many different forms. Our ultimate goal is to create a trusting work environment where everyone knows what we stand for and respects the work that we do. Rooted in mutual respect, we can create exceptional experiences for our employees, customers, and their passengers.

We have identified a number of focus areas to help us on our journey. First and foremost, safety is our number one priority and everyone’s responsibility. We will maintain a level of consistent accountability and seamless collaboration throughout our operations. A client-centric approach will be the focal point as we flawlessly execute a high level of service and find new ways to stay innovative.
